Hal-hal yang harus diperhatikan adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Bagi anda pengguna handset selain BlackBerry (Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Dopod, HTC, Motorola), sebelum mengirimkan sms registrasi BlackBerry® On Demand ke 889, anda harus memastikan bahwa handset anda support BlackBerry® Connect dan sudah melakukan instalasi BlackBerry® Connect pada handset tersebut. Tidak semua handset Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Dopod, HTC maupun Motorola mendukung BlackBerry Connect. Untuk keterangan handset yang mendukung BlackBerry Connect dapat dilihat pada kolom tipe/seri handset dalam tabel format penulisan SMS dibawah. Anda dapat mendownload aplikasi BlackBerry® Connect disini.
2. Apabila anda menerima sms berupa "Mohon lakukan CABUT&PASANG BATERE (HARD RESTART). Layanan BB Anda sdh dpt digunakan s/d tgl dd/mm/yyyy pukul 00:00" maka layanan BlackBerry® anda sudah aktif dan dapat digunakan secara langsung.
3. Apabila layanan BlackBerry® on Demand Anda sudah aktif, maka lakukan hard restart device dengan melepas baterai handset dan memasangnya kembali agar setting-an GPRS/EDGE/3G di handset menjadi terkoneksi. Indikiator pada handset BlackBerry dengan kondisi handset terkoneksi adalah GPRS/EDGE/3G pada pojok kanan atas layar handset BlackBerry. Bila ternyata kondisi sinyal dihandset masih GPRS/EDGE/3G maka handset BlackBerry belum terkoneksi dengan baik.
   Untuk handset BlackBerry Connect, indikator pada handset mempunyai beberapa kondisi yaitu:
   •  Kondisi terkoneksi adalah,
   •  Kondisi mencari koneksi adalah,
   •  Kondisi tidak terkoneksi adalah atau
4. Masa aktif GSM mempunyai peranan paling penting dalam menentukan berfungsi atau tidaknya semua service pada simcard tersebut. Bila masa aktif GSM berakhir maka semua service yang ada pada simcard tersebut akan tidak berfungsi termasuk BlackBerry on Demand.
5. Tarif BlackBerry on Demand tidak termasuk dalam tarif voice, SMS, MMS dan BlackBerry ataupun handset sebagai modem untuk PC atau laptop.
6. Tarif BlackBerry on Demand termasuk dalam pemakaian data unlimited melalui APN BlackBerry.net seperti email (max integrasi 10 account personal email di www.indosat.blackberry.com), attachment, chatting, BlackBerry Unite, browsing, google map dan semua aplikasi standard BlackBerry yang dijalankan pada handset BlackBerry. Untuk handset non BlackBerry, Indosat tidak bertanggung jawab terhadap suatu aplikasi yang diinstal pada handset tersebut dan apabila aplikasi tersebut membutuhkan koneksi GPRS/EDGE/3G, maka koneksi tersebut akan menggunakan tarif Rp1/kb.
7. BlackBerry on Demand menggunakan pemakaian unlimited data GPRS/EDGE/3G melalui APN BlackBerry.net dan hanya berlaku untuk pemakaian di Indonesia. Pemakaian data roaming internasional di Luar Negeri tidak termasuk dalam tarif BlackBerry on Demand. Tarif roaming internasional normal untuk Mentari, IM3, dan Matrix dan akan berlaku di negara tersebut.
8. Layanan i-GPS sementara belum dapat digunakan untuk pelanggan Mentari, dan IM3. Namun untuk pelanggan Matrix regular yang menggunakan service BlackBerry on Demand dapat menggunakan layanan i-GPS dengan normal pada handset BlackBerry dan berlaku setahun. Service i-GPS mengandalkan trafik data melalui APN BlackBerry.net pada service BlackBerry on Demand ataupun BlackBerry Matrix biasa. Dengan menggunakan BlackBerry on Demand, pelanggan hanya perlu memiliki salah satu paket i-GPS dan bisa menggunakan service i-GPS unlimited selama setahun dengan syarat ada koneksi data melalui APN BlackBerry.net. Pelanggan dapat memiliki koneksi APN BlackBerry.net dengan menggunakan service BlackBerry on Demand maupun BlackBerry Matrix.
9. Bila BlackBerry atau handset BlackBerry Connect digunakan sebagai modem, maka pemakaian data GPRS/EDGE/3G tidak melalui APN BlackBerry.net. Seluruh data akan dilewatkan melalui APN indosatgprs dengan tarif Rp1/kb. Tarif roaming internasional akan menyesuaikan jika pelanggan menggunakan BlackBerry atau handset BlackBerry Connect sebagai modem di luar negeri. Untuk pelanggan Mentari dan IM3, tarif pemakaian data nasional maupun internasional akan diambil dari saldo yang tersisa.
10. Untuk pelanggan Indosat Mobile yang ingin menggunakan BlackBerry on Demand harus memenuhi syarat-syarat sebagai berikut:
    •  Tidak sedang memiliki paket BlackBerry Indosat Mobile. Pelanggan tidak bisa memiliki dua paket sekaligus yaitu BlackBerry BIS regular dan BlackBerry on Demand. Bila pelanggan ingin menggunakan BlackBerry on Demand, maka pelanggan harus menon-aktifkan service BlackBerry BIS regular di Galeri terlebih dahulu. Setelah itu, pelanggan bisa mengirimkan SMS Registrasi Mingguan atau Bulanan ke 889.
    •  Account Indosat Mobile tidak sedang dalam keadaan ”Suspend” atau ”Block”.
    •  Biaya BlackBerry on Demand akan ditagihkan melalui cycle billing berikutnya.
11. BlackBerry on Demand dapat digunakan di handset BlackBerry maupun handset non BlackBerry yang sudah terinstal software BlackBerry Connect pada handset tersebut. Registrasi BlackBerry on Demand via UMB dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan dial ke nomor *889*1# (bagian fitur Indosat)
