from jakarta airport go by AC bus damri(its public transport indonesia) to gambir train station located at central city jakarta near national monument and backpacker places jalan jaksa, tiket price 20.000 rupiah around 2,2 usd, bus every 30 minute you just wait at halte/ bus stop outside from airport. around 30 minute

from gambir train buy tiket train to jogjakarta (tugu station) by executive train taksaka, argolawu, argodwipangga, price 300.000 rupiah or around 33 usd, start 08.00 pm and 08.00 am every day, u can get the tiket in station gambir, 6 hour journey on the train you can eating food, train provide restaurant in the middle room

from station tugu you just walk to malioboro street for shopping and sosrowijayan for guest house or hotel, for budget form 100.000 - 200.000 rupiah around 15 usd. the distance around 500 meter from tugu station.

from malioboro bus stop trans jogja you go to jombor bus terminal price around 3000 rupiah around 0,5 usd, bus every 15 minute

from jombor terminal by bus to borobudur terminal 15000 rupiah around 2 usd, from terminal walking 600 meter distance, or by lokal transpot becak and horse

if u need go back to jogjakarta and jakarta is same metode, just opposite
